Experienced, award winning DP

I'm a director of photography based in Portland, Oregon, with more than 20 years shooting commercial, branded content, and narrative projects. I work as a local hire in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, and I travel worldwide for the right projects.

My credits include the award winning feature film Somewhere Confidential, RideTV's Disciplines network campaign, and branded work for Patrón.

In the commercial, branded content and documentary vein, I've worked with brands such as Netflix, Paramount+, BBC Studios, Intel, Facebook, NFL Films and others.

Early in my career I went through training under members of the American Society of Cinematographers such as Shane Hurlbut ASC, Bill Bennet ASC, Charlie Lieberman ASC, Jim Denault ASC and Karl Walter Lindenlaub. That training shaped how I light and frame: disciplined, intentional, built to serve the story rather than call attention to itself.

I shoot on ARRI Alexa, RED, Blackmagic and Sony Venice/Burano systems, and I run motion control rigs by Motorized Precision. Kira, Colossus, Vigo, & Mia.
